Merry Mustache

It's Christmas break and with all this time on my hands I have been completing many crafts for the wedding.  This is a feeling of excellence because time is slipping away quickly (did I mention I'm also a full time student that doesn't have much time for crafts?).  Like a busy busy bee this week I have finished the aisle arrangements for the ceremony and the floral centerpieces.  ahhhhh... accomplishment.  I deserve an A++!

Around here we really like mustaches.  Jude is both a "no shave november" and a "dirty stache december" veteran along with displaying a very merry mustache this Christmas.  He's not the only one who gets in on the upper lip action though! Don't believe me?

Here is Jude sporting his very merry Mustache

And here am I and (maid of honor) Sara Berkemeier on my 21st birthday!  We would win any merry mustache competition hands down.

One other project I have been completing is my photo station.  Photo booths have become popular and also very expensive so we decided to create our own version.  Don't worry, I'm not giving away the good part.  See now that you know there will be a photo station you can look forward to it (and I can look forward to your pictures)!!  In the process our love for mustaches has surfaced once again.

Oh yes friends...its going to be a good time.  That's my Dad by the way, who is a facial hair connoisseur if you couldn't already tell.  This was an easy project that took maybe half an hour and was super cheap!!  It would be great for any kind of party, especially for youth.  I won't give a full tutorial because it's stupendously easy!!

You need:
Stiff felt (99cents at Michaels)
Wooden Dowels (29cents at Michaels)
Scissors
A hot glue gun
Mustache Template (optional)

Its almost self explanatory.  You can use the template to create your mustaches or you can freehand it.  Just cut them out of the felt and glue them on a stick!  Easy peezy!  Obviously this is not my original idea, but sharing is always nice :)

We've finally nailed down the invite list so today I will be collecting addresses..its a long road ahead of me!  Thank goodness for my iPod and apps like myGuestList.  Also want to give a warm congratulations to all of the newly engaged couples over this Christmas season!  Especially to Angela Brubaker and Chris Biddle! Certainly does feel like the good life.
